Technology

Northside Catholic Assumption Academy offers students the following in hardware and web-based programming:

Kindles

Students in the 1st grade utilize Kindle e-readers to enhance their reading skills many different ways. By improving vocabulary, students will improve their reading comprehension skills and understand more difficult texts. With a Kindle, students will be able to put the cursor on a word they do not know and the definition appears on the screen. With Kindles, students will be more engaged in the reading. Research has shown that engaged students are the students that learn the most.
